Two Lightning Audio batteries on each side under the hood power the system |
Aluminum bus bars and hold down straps were fabricated to hold the batteries down |
Super charger under the hood for lots of extra horsepower |
A 7" widescreen monitor is flushed in where the factory radio used to go and the deck replaced the heater controls |
A close up of the lower console. Note the matching paint and texture |
The factory heater controls and Panasonic DVD player were both fabricated into the top of the lower center console |
A Panasonic 5.1 surround sound processor was flushed into the factory overhead console in place of the rear heater controls |
To flush the 5.1 processor we used the factory trim ring for a starting point |
Here you can see the mid base and the flush cover for the Image Dynamic horns |
If you look close you can see the Image logo raised in the horn cover |
Illusion Audio 8" woofers were flushed into the floor on both sides to handle the mid base |
The three amplifiers you can see are flushed into the floor which remains fully functional |
Eight 15" subwoofers grace the rear of this vehicle. The goal was to have lots of sound but still be able to haul things |
Here you can see four of the eight 15" subs on the passenger side of the vehicle |
The chrome bar in the middle is actually an Acura Integra upper stress bar which we chopped and rethreaded |
| |
Please notice the curves involved with this enclosure, the vynil stretch was no easy task |
